The Players Behind Off The Cuff

The sound of Cincinnati's Own Off The Cuff comes from musicians whose careers and influences cross multiple musical worlds. Each player brings a different background, and the band's identity is forged where those backgrounds meet on stage.

Vocals

E-Li

A Cincinnati native, E-Li grew up in church as the son of a pastor, singing in the choir from a young age. He later earned a degree in Audio and Video Production and built a career behind the scenes on projects featured on local and national television and radio, with credits spanning BET, TV One, and TBN and distribution reaching audiences worldwide.

He has also served as a radio station Program Director, hosted a popular radio and internet show, and worked as a stage manager for concerts across the United States. For all his time behind the curtain, the desire to perform never left him. E-Li has lent his vocals to Cincinnati-area bands including Soul Progression, The Everyday People Band, and The Colour of Rhythm. His heart is in ’90s R&B, but his taste, and what he brings to Off The Cuff, reaches far beyond one genre.
